Technical hitch

All,

I want to apologise for not posting lately, this is due to a technical issue which means when I try to upload my photos, they become distorted (see example below). Although sometimes it does look quite funky, it is becoming quite frustrating as I have lots of photos ready to show you but they are all like this.

I have not had a chance to establish what the error is, so if anyone is familiar with this, I am still unsure if it is because of my laptop, WordPress, Picasa or my Internet Explorer connection becoming disrupted…ao please do let me know! In the meantime I appreciate your patience.

All the best

Jenny

When you think of Egypt you tend to think of pyramids and sand.  Lots of sand!  If someone asked me where this image was taken you could have given me 1,000 chances to guess and I would have needed at least 1,001 to guess Egypt.

Re-blogging this photo because it is just beautiful! Diving is something I have been assured I am missing out on (because I am too much of a scaredy cat!) but think the beauty of this photo only emphasises how beautiful the deep blue sea is....

My favourite bear

On my way home from work drinks last night with my friend Andy who lives in the area. We took the opportunity to get a photo with Paddington Bear while everywhere was so quiet! Thought I would just post this photo because it makes me smile!

For those of you who dont know Paddington Bear, he used to eat marmalade sandwiches and live in Paddington :)

Thanks to Andy for taking my photo!

Christmas treats

Today was my last day in work before the Christmas break and I am so excited for a rest and to spend some time with my friends and family.

As a small treat for the team I work with I popped to the shops at lunch and bought us all a little treat, some gorgeously cute little M&S chocolate cupcakes.  They were a yummy little afternoon treat and I thought I would take the opportunity to get some photos of them.  This was my favourite.

I can’t wait to take some photos of Christmassy things over the next few days! If I don’t blog before the BIG day now, have a wonderful Christmas and thankyou for following or reading my blog :)

And so it begins…

Welcome to Jenny Mills Photography.  This blog is to start to track my photography progress as I have started out with a classic film Canon EOS SLR and moved to the digital world with my Christmas present to myself of a Canon EOS 500D SLR last year.  For those of you who don’t know me, I live and work in London and have always been known for taking far too many photos!

This blog is my attempt to develop my skills and share my photos with everyone out there – and to get some tips and pointers!

I hope to have things up and running soon but please be patient, I am having to short list photos from the thousands I have on my computer!
