A couple of weeks ago we had James’ sister and her husband and two of her boys to visit. We decided to take the opportunity to visit Brent Lodge Park which we had been recommended by a friend. The park has a small wildlife park with a few animals, a cute little maze and a great playground with a zipwire – very popular with the boys!
We were quite fortunate with the weather, although it wasn’t warm, it didn’t rain thankfully! Despite it being spring-time, it appeared a lot of the pen’s were being refurbished and the animals were still in stables for the winter so there weren’t many animals to see. The best part of the day was the peacocks. Although they didn’t put on a show with their feathers, they really were spectacular just wandering around free, you had to watch your step so you didn’t tread on their feathers. The colour of them were just stunning I can’t even explain. So here are some of my shots for you to enjoy

You got some great photos!!
Beautiful birds and photography. Thanks for sharing.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Good perspectives for the photos
Thanks, I really enjoyed taking photos of the birds just a shame they didn’t display their feathers for us!
I have nominate you for two bloggers awards. Please pick up here: http://wp.me/p23TG1-EN
Great pictures. One of my favorite places at the San Diego Zoo is Flamingo Lagoon right across from the entrance. Along with the flamingos, a bunch of peacocks hang out there, and in late spring/early summer mommy flamingos are running around with their little babies.
