Over Easter you may have seen my post about climbing up Old Man in the Lake District. We stayed with our friends Matt and Kate and their lovely dog Brenna in Coniston. Although the weather wasn’t perfect we still managed to go for a couple of walks in the hills and make the most of the brief sunshine on the Saturday. I didn’t get as many photos as I had hoped as on the second day the weather was so bad I didn’t want to take my camera out with us. But here are a selection of the photos I took of everyone and the gorgeous Brenna, a working Cocker-spaniel.
I love the dry stone wall covered in moss. I am amazed at how these walls hold together given the windy conditions in the Lake District.
