Apologies for not posting for a while, it has been a very busy couple of weeks.
This is a couple of photos of the mews’ that I pass on my way to work, the one with the multi-coloured terraces is where I’d like to live and the other is a church close to Marylebone High Street which ia tucked away down a quaint little cobbled Mews.
Although I do enjoy modern architecture, I can’t help but have a.little element of sadness that modern architecture sometimes loses this old romantic cobbled street element of design.
But it is good to see these streets still exist steeped is all their historical glory.

Nice walk to work! I love these pretty coloured houses in London that are hidden away
Great capture of yet more of London’s hidden gems. These are the bits that the tourists don’t see. I used to work in the city (not in the banks tho’ LOL) and walked past the old city wall regularly.
It is incredible to think that new buildings in that area have to preserve the old London underneath and that some buildings have the old walls in their basements.
Looking forward to seeing another pic from your walk to work!
