Over the months/years I have enjoyed taking macro shots and the difference now I have my DSLR is quite apparent, although still without a macro lens, I have seen a noticable improvement in my shots. My aim is to find one that I really like and get it printed onto a canvas for our new home, although I have been trying (and failing) to find one I like enough for over a year now! Here are a few I have capture in 2011. The gerbera was a birthday present from my sister, back in the day when I was using my film SLR, the dandylion was captured in Cannock Chase which is effectively James’ mums backdoor(!), and the rose is from a huge bunch James bought me, as I’m sure you can imagine, I was thrilled to receive them

The Gerbera is my favourite, my sister loves these flowers, in fact she loves them that much she had them in her bridal bouquets!
